Climate protection in communal real estate sites
The goal of the sub concept “climate protection in real estate sites” is to develop planning criteria and controlling instruments (climate protection management), with which CO2 emissions and energy costs of the real estate sites can be reduced permanently. By controlling and monitoring the energy consumption, the costs can be reduced by up to 15% to 20%. With a a sub concept “climate protection in real estate sites”, decision makers are able to gradually use the potential of energy efficiency, energy saving and renewable energy to its full extent.
The BMU (German ministry of environment) promotes three components as part of a sub concept “climate protection in real estate sites”. These can be combined and it is possible to apply for all three.
