On the one hand, the discovery of the LURETEC energy saving technology was pure chance, on the other hand it was the persistence and patience when experimenting. It would otherwise not have been possible for the former chairman of the trades association Peiting to develop a present-oriented technology and to get it moving.
Out of necessity to help his members to provide for the Christmas lighting, he made a virtue and was able to cut the power costs for the street lighting of Markt Peiting by 50 %.

On the market since 2002, we were able to help a large number of communities save energy for the street lighting.
In projects we did not do the retrofitting in, the commitment of utilities to save energy could still always be led back to our initiative.
