Co² emissions and energy reduction for street lighting EU launches “Green Light“ agenda!

Letter Greenlight Endorser

In coherence to the commitment in the Kyoto protocol, the European Union, together with 14 of its member countries, is looking for effective ways to reduce CO2 emissions. On a federal level these efforts are being supported by the BMU (German ministry of the environment).

The European Commission has launched the “Green Light” agenda here, to honor towns and communities, that distinguish themselves with energy efficient saving measures for street lighting, and make them partners. Three communities that have been retrofitted by us, have already been announced partners in this agenda: Kempten, Markt Peiting and Markt Cadolzburg.

The company Luretec has been announced as endorser.
